In dark times, we want you to know that there is HOPE in Jesus, as he says, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28)

We hope that you feel when you visit Dumbarton Free Church you feel like coming home. You’ll be welcomed with genuine warmth and a “come as you are” atmosphere. Our worship is earnest and heartfelt, our teaching is rooted in Scripture, and we’re here to talk, listen, and always offer a hot cuppa after the service.
Though Dumbarton Free is small, we have a strong, committed core of people who love God and each other. Names are known, lives and stories are shared, and our faith is strengthened in our community.
Whether you're exploring your faith, interested in learning more about Christianity, or looking for a new church to attend, you’ll find a space where you truly belong, here at our “wee free” church.

FAQs:
I’m new to church, what should I expect? Our services are traditional, so we sing the Psalms and hymns. There are several times of prayer, and various Bible readings before the sermon. We also provide an order of worship so you can follow along and always know what to expect next!
Where should I park? There is free parking available in the little car park directly behind the building.
What should I wear? Come as you are!
What Bible version do you use? We read out of the KJV, ESV, and MEV, but attendees use a variety of Bibles including NIV, NKJV, NASB, and CSB.
Is there a creche? We do not currently have a consistent creche rota, but we have a warm, comfortable room full of lots of toys for little ones to play with. Additionally, we have a children’s message every week and we understand that children provide lots of noise and that is never an issue!
